Saying that The Ghost is book 3.75 in the Soulmates series might be splitting hairs a little too thin, but it’s really a bridge between the first three Soulmates books and the spin-off series, Soulmates: City of Angels. It takes place after Redeemed and just prior to Stolen (City of Angels Book 1) and while it’s pretty low heat, it tells a complete story, featuring characters from both series and touching on familiar plot threads.
Connor and David have been hired to protect the life of a local political candidate. They’re at a campaign event, though they’re not quite sure who they’re looking for or what got the LAPD so spooked they had to bring in their liaison to the paranormal.
In an unexpected turn, two members of the Elites are at the same event, except Nasir Dragon and Brodie Kerr are on the hunt for a deadly assassin . . . who might be looking to take out a candidate for Los Angeles mayor.
One event. Two goals. Are the four of them enough to bring down the Ghost?
